Chinese'Hundred Butterfly' fencai large porcelain teapot. 6¼" × 6¾" × 5. 15.75 cm × 17.25 cm × 12.75 cm. People's Republic of China. This is a vintage teapot with decoration modelled after the famous'Hundred Butterfly' pattern of the Guangxu period. Even though only vintage, the decoration is very well done. This is hand-painted fencai enamel decoration of fine quality.
Please study the close-ups of the butterflies. The decoration is a close match to the Guangxu originals. I must apply this manually.
